My haircut is medium length, with layers from the chek bone and i also have a side fringe. I straighten my hair with jhd straightners and then i set the style using the cold heat setting on my hairdyer. I use frizzease serum, etc and my hair always looks good when im not going out/when im inside, but when i go out in this winter weather (ie, cold and windy) my hair never stays the same, when i come in my style isnt the same, it doesnt frizz up as such but i do loose my style and my layers end up all kinked, etc.
Can any give me sum advice how to prevent this. I dont have a lot of money so i cant afford the really pricey haircare items.

since you already style it with heat, and setted it with cool air, i would suggest you add lotsa hairspray.
but if you must be in the wind, it would almost always mess up your hair. the solution is to wear a hooded jacket or a head scarf.
