What should i do, hair?

so i'm really bored of my hair at the moment

should i dye it?

if so, what colour?

high/lowlights?

what style would suit best?

I'm thinking about getting some extensions which i can take in and out.

Im 15 nearly 16,

I like the scene kind of long hair, not gothy stuff though

I have hazel eyes,

Medium skin tone, tans kinda gone now but im not pale

heart shaped kind of face

Medium brown hair, kind of mousey brown really.

past my shoulders.

What should i do, hair?

Keep your locks long, if that's what you're wanting. Get it razor cut with choppy layers that you can spray and give them that big hair scene look. Dye your hair a darker brown and throw some crazy highlights in there. You only live once, afterall. :]

Or .. google pictures of that kind of hair, print out the ones you like and show it to your hairdresser. She'll know what kind of look you're going for.

Don't dye it. I did that when I was younger and just grew out of it. Most people look so much better with the natural color. Spend a little extra money and go to a nice salon so the hairstylist can suggest a cut perfect for your face. Start learning how to use a blowdryer and a hair iron......

To be honest, its entirely up to you and what you want. If you decide to dye your hair, or are not sure, try a temporary or semi-permenant hair colour to see what it would look like first. If you decide it would be too much, high/low lights are good to add bits of colour. There are lots of different styles in colouring hair, such as slices (literally 'slices' of colour), under-colour (where the under section of your hair is dyed), veiling (where a thin top layer of hair is coloured), and others.

As for the length, if you like long hair, keep it. If you want a bit more texture, long-layering can look good, and so can feathering.
