I need a cute hairstyle.. and fast!?

I am looking for a cute, trendy, medium length hairstyle. I have long hair now and I am going to cut it about 6 inches or so beneath my shoulders or a little shorter cuz it is to my hips now. I want it to have bangs, and layers! Thanks! If you can give me ideas on how to style the hairstyle you give me, that would be great too!

Make sure you're sure about bangs they take forever to grow back.

Just below the shoulders with layers would look nice though.

Cutting it shorter is gonna make it seem wavier since they will be less weight.

You can make a cute hairstyle by putting in texturing spray in your hair and making small waves. Then, tease your bangs by holding your bangs up and taking the comb, putting it in the middle of your bangs, and brushing downward. then, clip them back (kind of like in your picture). First off, when getting bangs, make sure that they are not completely straight blunt cut bangs, as this will really detract away from any face shape or the length of your hair. As for layers, stick to gradual layers that frame the face and are razored out throughout the hair for texture and volume. Make sure you ask the hairdresser for a cut that will play up the texture in your hair, but one that will also give you some body when you straighten it.

**As for tips on how to style your hair, the key thing to do is first make the hair healthy. Make sure you use moisturizing shampoos and conditions, and make sure you leave a heat protectant spray on hair before styling wiht a blowdryer and or straightener. For a casual beachy look, I suggest using curl activating serums throughout damp hair and letting it air dry, or for a more polished look, add a frizz control serum to the ends and just blowdry with a round brush for the perfect blow-out. If you want, you can also make some cute casual curls with a 1 inch barrel ceramic curling iron and just gather a few random sections of hair and give it a bit more glamour. You can also try out low braided pigtails with a few ends sticking out or headbands as well.
