Style for straight hair?

My hair is PIN straight and medium length. Whenever i curl it and put tons of hairspray, it comes out in 2hours. Im looking for a style that works with straight hair and something that isnt way over volumous that I can wear daily. Any ideas?

yeah i know what you mean sorta. my hair isnt pin straight but i also like looking for a variety of hairstyles. i would say maybe part your hair to one side so it gets the illusion that you have bangs to the side, another one is moose it (if you know what that is then great if not its sort of like the wet look when you get out of the shower, i do it all the time and it looks great) you can get it in a local drug store or anything like that just ask for moose. or you could do something casual like putting it up in a high or low ponytail. high makes you look cute and spunky and low makes you look very sophisticated.

hope i helped!

I have very straight hair that won't hold any curl too. My hair is very long, down to the middle of my back. I like layers, LONG ones. Layered very lightly in the back to help with volume, and face framing. My shortest layer starts about chin length. Think Jennifer Aniston's very long straight style. I can either blow dry the ends toward my face like she does, or flip them out.

When your hair is a little damp, twist it into a bun or French twist. Leaving it clipped up for awhile should make it curly or wavy. It works for me, but it takes practice.

if you use a mouse and blow dry you hair upside down, usually it will just add a little to what ever you do to your hair. doing that and then curling it might help also!

you could get it layered and just flip out the ends. or try changing the your part around. I have the exact same problem with my hair it can get frustrating sometimes getting it layered can bring out flips in your hair that you didn't know you had

You can put it into a high pontail. You can Braid it like braided pigtails. You could put it into like a ballet bun with boby-pins. Or just wear a headband! Works for me, and my hair is like yours too.

If you want to try something sexy why not a cute shag. I know it sounds lame, but it is so cute, you get alot of great texture from all of the layers and great face framing bangs. Plus all you need is one product like a mouse to set your hair.

Im in the same exact boat. My hair was Very long and though I liked the length, i could do Nothing with it. So recently i got it cut. Its a little above my shoulders and there are short layers and longer layers to frame my face. It looks cute if i just put some volumizing mousse in it and blow dry. When I actually style it though, I use the mousse and a pomade for texture:)
